Responsibilities: - Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations of the store - Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive shopping experience for customers - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional manner - Train and develop new employees on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards - Supervise and motivate store staff to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional service - Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed and perform cash register duties as needed - Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control processes - Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees - Collaborate with the manager to create employee schedules and manage staff time off requests Requirements: - Previous experience in a retail or customer service role preferred - Strong communication skills and phone etiquette - Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in cash register operations and basic math skills - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail - Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively - Knowledge of training and development principles to support employee growth Note: This job description is intended to describe the general nature of the work performed by employees in this position.
