We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager for our state-of-the-art assisted living facility.
This employee is responsible for completing maintenance tasks to preserve the quality of the facility and its apartments.
The duties include conducting routine maintenance checks of all building systems, all building equipment, managing landscape crews and vendors for large repairs, and maintaining in-house repairs and make-ready as needed.
This person will be required to understand assisted living regulations relative to physical plant operations/facilities maintenance, but we can train you on those requirements if you do not have that knowledge currently.
We want a self-starter that is a team player with a can-do attitude.
This role will need to properly communicate maintenance issues/needs to facility management on a regular, timely bases.
You will also need to have a professional approach to communicating with all parties on a day-to-day basis including management, family members, residents and outside vendors.
You will be required to respond to after hours calls when we have urgent maintenance needs or emergency needs.
One of the main goals of the Facility Maintenance Manager is responding to maintenance needs and handling necessary repairs such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster and painting.
Some typical daily activities include:
* Maintaining timely inspections checks on HVAC, plumbing, security, life safety systems, resident call systems, and electrical systems
* Checking and responding to security and safety issues
* Testing and recommending new maintenance products
* Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers
* Keeping documentation of issues and resolutions
* Keeping inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
Requirements:
* Three or more years of facility maintenance experience in assisted living, hospitality, multi-family, or other healthcare facility
* Pay level is dependent on experience
