Summary
As a Project Manager / SCRUM Master, you will play a pivotal role in the orchestration of various projects covering IT operations and facilitating the efforts of our developer teams running SCRUM.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, hands-on SCRUM mastery, and a strong leadership presence.
The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and ensure projects and sprints are executed effectively will be paramount.
Essential Duties Project Management: · Coordinate, track, and manage projects using Microsoft Project.
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Communicate project progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
· Address potential risks and issues, devising contingency plans when necessary.
SCRUM Master: · Guide, coach, and motivate the development teams towards high performance and adherence to SCRUM principles.
· Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning meetings.
· Remove impediments or guide the team in doing so, ensuring smooth progress.
Actively work to remove roadblocks that hinder project or sprint progress.
Team Collaboration: · Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the development teams.
· Liaise between developers, product owners, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: · Act as the main point of contact for project status, updates, and queries.
· Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
Minimum Requirements Must be able to pass a background and Credit check · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR a total of 6 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience as a Project Manager and SCRUM Master.
PMP, PRINCE2, and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials are a plus.
Strong familiarity with projects using Microsoft Project and agile tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent social and networking skills to support the community bank image.
Complete in-house training based on requirements set up for this position.
Proven ability to provide an Excellent Customer Experience Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word processing and spreadsheet software.
Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
Effective Time management skills Ability to always maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
Ability to deal with routine problems involving multiple facets and variables.
Must follow company policies, all state and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
· Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
The incumbent must be able to perform this position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others.
Secondary Duties The position of Project Manager / SCRUM Master performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities The position of Project Manager / SCRUM Master has no supervisory responsibility.
Environment and Physical Activity The environment for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and comfortable and may include driving a Bank or personal-owned vehicle which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts.
It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.
The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will.
The incumbent in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, and reaching.
The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, cellular telephone, beeper, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), typewriter, computer terminal, personal computer and related printers.
