We are seeking our next Director of Outreach Services who will be all-in on our mission and who will provide leadership in the development and implementation of programs and services designed to attract, admit and enroll a student population that meets the strategic enrollment goals of Amarillo College.
Requirements EDUCATION Required: Bachelor’s Degree.
Preferred: Master’s Degree.
EXPERIENCE Required: Three (3) years of experience working with the public on a professional level.
Preferred: Experience in development of publications, use of social media and planning special events.
Fluency in Spanish.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Establish, implement, and monitor program assessment for college recruitment activities Supervise and evaluate performance of subordinate staff for adherence to established performance goals.
Select, train, assign, direct, supervise and evaluate personnel.
Use data and business intelligence to make strategic decisions related to student recruitment.
Work with Vice President of Enrollment Management to develop, define and monitor enrollment targets for the College.
Collaborate with Communications and Marketing Department to maintain and promote brand awareness of the College.
Coordinate assigned programs and services with other college departments and external programs.
Collaborate with other directors in Enrollment Management Division to ensure optimal use of existing technology, as well as recommend new technology solutions.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
