We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our dynamic team at Castro County Nursing & Rehabilitation in Dimmitt, Texas.
Our mission is to provide exceptional care to our residents, and the dietary department plays a crucial role in achieving this goal.
As a CDM, you will oversee the daily operations of our dietary services, ensuring that all food service operations meet or exceed health and safety standards while promoting nutritional health and well-being of our residents.
*Responsibilities:*
* Plan, direct, and coordinate dietary services in accordance with regulatory requirements and our facility’s policies.
* Develop and implement menus and dietary plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents, incorporating dietary preferences and restrictions.
* Manage and train dietary staff, promoting a culture of high performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee food preparation, presentation, and distribution, ensuring quality standards are met.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure individual nutritional care plans are effectively implemented.
* Manage dietary department budget, inventory, and procurement of supplies and equipment.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
*Qualifications:*
* Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required.
* Proven experience in dietary management within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
* Strong knowledge of nutritional standards, dietary guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in dietary software and MS Office.
