com/careers POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director, Surgical Center is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Surgical Center, and for the ongoing assessment and improvement of the Surgical Center activities.
The Assistant Director, Surgical Center supports the Surgical Director in overseeing the operations of the Surgical Center in collaboration with nursing leadership and hospital administration, for the integration of Surgical Center services into hospital wide services.
Such responsibilities encompass the internal functioning of the Surgical Center, which facilitates the functioning of the Surgical Center in the overall organization.
The Assistant Director, Surgical Center supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.
PROVISION OF SERVICES/CARE STANDARDS Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services/functions throughout NWTHS.
Participates in and supports a process to measure, assess, and improve performance of management, clinical, and/or support services in conjunction with all regulatory agencies.
Assists in development of a department-specific fiscal plan including but not limited to a departmental budget, compliance monitoring of budgeted parameters and appropriate corrective action while providing organization and direction for resource allocation according to the scope of services.
